The Daily Post’s: Daily Prompt

Seat Guru

You get to plan a dinner party for 4-8 of your favorite writers/artists/musicians/other notable figures, whether dead or alive. Who do you seat next to whom in order to inspire the most fun evening?

What a great prompt!  I actually have a lesson that I use in my middle school language arts classroom where they have to select 2 literary characters, 2 historical figures, and a person from current events.  My students love this writing assignment.  Here is the lesson plan that we use.  Dinner Party Performance Task

My List:

1.  Claude Monet

2.  Walt Disney

3. Rosa Parks

4. Mother Theresa

5. Gandhi
